The coffee was great, although I think my pour over was brewed a bit high, but I realize it's nit-picking. The almond croissant was phenomenal. Will definitely be back ”

They even made a delicious light/medium espresso shot which is quite difficult to do right. Balanced, fruitful, sweet not bitter or sour with a clean after taste. As a home coffee roaster, former barista and espresso aficionado I can say this place is one of the best coffee shops in town! ”

“ One of my favorite cafe’s to work/study. Delicious coffee and friendly staff. The building is absolutely beautiful, and a relief from the busy street out front. Interior courtyard stays cool but also sometimes gets some lovely sunshine. Interior is warm and airy with small and large tables. Small tables they ask a 2 hour max on, so if you’re gonna be there longer join the big communal table! Never gotten a pastry but always looks good! ”

Using coffee they import and roast themselves! The baristas were super friendly and quick! The ambiance was super laid back bay area vibe with a upscale industrial sheek decor. The whole experience was a 10/10, thanks Capitola!!! ”
